Leigh Ecology Ltd is a UK based, nationally renowned, Ecological Consultancy. We are an independent, professional, family run business based in the heart of Cheshire in Northwich and our services are available nationwide.
With over 23 years experience in the field of Ecology and the planning process, we provide a comprehensive ecological service and a range of ecology surveys. From baseline habitat surveys, Bat surveys, Badger surveys, Great Crested Newt surveys, plants, and all other protected species, to impact assessment, and mitigation design and implementation, biodiversity net gain, and invasive plant management advice. Leigh Ecology Ltd was formed in the Spring of 2013. We are an independent consultancy practice based in Cheshire, but we are able to provide our cost-effective services right across the country. We pride ourselves in offering friendly, pragmatic advice and matching our surveys to your project needs and the relevant associated planning issues. Director and Principal Ecologist Roy Leigh
Roy is an experienced ecologist with over 23 years of experience working as a consultant. He holds numerous survey licences and has worked on a wide range of projects, from multi-million-pound infrastructure schemes to house extension projects. He has also undertaken many novel specific studies utilising intrusive methods for example pit tagging and radio tracking.
